Switch officially Plug & Charge certified by Hubject for next generation EV charging infrastructure at scale

• Josev, Switch’s embedded Operating System (OS) for EV chargers, is officially certified for ISO 15118 powered Plug & Charge (PnC) by Hubject.
• Charger OEMs using Josev have a headstart on time to market, unlocking savings in time and money on getting hardware PnC approved.
• The Switch Platform and Josev is now the world’s first software system running on OCPP 2.0.1 and certified by Hubject for PnC.

Berlin, Germany and London, UK – Josev, Switch’s embedded charger OS, is now Hubject certified for Plug & Charge (PnC). This means charger OEMs and networks can integrate PnC across hardware and networks at speed (and a competitive price).

With Josev, EV charger manufacturers can save time and money when integrating ISO 15118-2 and next-generation ISO 15118-20 features into their offerings. These include bi-directional AC and DC power flow and the Megawatt Charging System (MCS). Automated and wireless charging scenarios are coming soon.

In addition, Josev has now dramatically simplified the ISO 15118-2-powered Hubject PnC certification process for charger OEMs.

Use Josev to get Hubject PnC certified

Since Josev is PnC-certified, charger OEMs enjoy a headstart to becoming Hubject certified. This head start imparts benefits on two fronts:

• Time: Hubject certification can be condensed to a single session, cutting weeks off the certification process.
